The One-Sixty 700 gets all the cutting edge enduro performance of Merida's radical new design but with a high-value and fully featured all-aluminium frame. That means hard-hitting modern geometry with the new FAST kinematic suspension that delivers a chaos taming ride alongside quality Marzocchi and Fox suspension. Shimano's proven 12-speed Deore drivetrain means reliable shifts time after time, while four-piston brakes make short work of keeping everything under control.
The One-Sixty is a radical, all-new design that pushes Merida's hard-hitting enduro platform to new heights. Just as well, because once it's there it's ready to rip the longest, toughest descents too. Merida's new suspension system uses a flexstay design with an adjustable rocker, so whether you choose to run it as a full 29er (162mm travel) or mixed 29/27.5" setup (171mm travel), the geometry is preserved. There's a radically steep 79° seat tube angle for goat-like climbing and slack 64° head angle plus 170mm fork to deal with downhill trail chaos. New sizing allows riders to run a longer or shorter reach frame independently of their height, while suspension becomes more progressive as you size up, all with long-travel dropper posts. Wire Port cable routing plus reliable threaded bottom bracket round out the package, while carbon frame models offer on-board tool storage and FidLock magnetic bottle cages.
Merida Sizing -
- X-Short: 145cm - 165cm
- Short: 155cm - 175cm
- Mid: 165cm - 185cm
- Long: 175cm - 195cm
- X-Long: 185cm+
Merida's latest range of mountain bikes makes use of a slightly new approach to sizing. Merida encourage riders to consider their riding style when selecting a frame size.
For example the Mid size frame is suitable for riders of heights between 165-185cm. This means a rider of height 175cm could select a Short frame if the preference is agility, Mid for a balanced ride or Long for stability.
