Buy a Bike on Finance

At Biketart we offer finance on almost all purchases over £1000. You can view the finance options available on the product page.

Finance lets you spread the cost of your bike over several months to several years without any interest charges. We offer between 6-48 months finance and you can chose to pay between 10-50% deposit. You can pay the finance off early if you wish.

Full price bikes are eligible for 0% APR finance for up to 36 months depending on the price of the bike. Bikes on sale price have 0% APR finance available for up to 12 months and 9.9% APR finance available for up to 36 months.

To make it easy we’ve teamed up with V12 Finance whose smart technology lets you apply for and complete the loan application quickly and entirely online.

Simply add the items you love to your Biketart basket. Once you are at the checkout select the finance option that suits you. You will clearly be able to see the monthly payments for each length of finance period. The quick application form should take no more than a couple of minutes to complete and you’ll usually receive an instant decision. Easy! Alternatively, it can be done over the phone or in-store.

By making a finance application you are in no way committing to taking out finance until you have signed the agreement.

Finance Approvel

Your application will be assessed based on eligibility, credit history and affordability and V12 will usually let you know the outcome in just a few seconds. It’s important to know that when applying for finance a hard credit check is made which is recorded on your credit file.

Once approved, V12 will let you know who the lender is and provide you with their full contact details. You then just need to digitally sign your credit agreement, pay your deposit and wait for your order to arrive. In a few cases, your application may be referred to a lender for manual assessment and you’ll be notified by email of the credit decision within 24 hours.

If you’re not approved for finance it could be for a variety of reasons and the lender will be able to give you more information.

Repayment

Your first direct debit payment will be taken 30 days after we ship your order. This will show on your statement as a payment to your lender. You have the right to repay all or part of the loan early at any time with no charges.

Self-Service Portal

As soon as your credit agreement is live, you will be able to access the V12 Self-Service Portal. The V12 Self-Service Portal has been developed with functionality that allows you to self-serve your V12 account on any device, at any time of the day. You can change your bank details or payment date, update your personal details, and send our Customer Service Team a secure message, all 24 hours a day. You will receive a link to log into the Portal in your welcome letter or email, the process to register is quick and simple and you can begin managing their account straight away.

Cancellation

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations (CCR) 2013, customers have a 14 day “cooling off” period in which customers have the right to cancel an order for any reason. If you wish to cancel within this period please contact us at support@biketart.com. You then have a further 14 days to return the item in an as-new condition. There are no additional charges for cancelling.
