Description
Santa Cruz entered the world of 29” wheel enduro mountain bikes with the original Megatower in 2019, a bike that immediately set a new standard in bikes chasing speed over challenging terrains. We now see the launch of the updated Megatower V2, further refined, tweaked and adjusted to push ever faster. A Megatower brings descending performance as close as is possible to the DH race rig, the V10, and retains the ability to pedal back up. Quite simply - up, down, repeat.
165mm rear travel utilises the famed Santa Cruz VPP (virtual pivot point) suspension linkage for consistent, supportive ride feel. A lower overall leverage ratio (thanks to a longer 62.5 stroke shock) provides more damping support for aggressive riding and a smooth progression curve with improved resistance to bottoming-out. Further adjustment is possible via the flip-chip system that enables you to switch between Hi and Lo settings to drop the BB a little lower and slacken the headtube angle for those days when things are extra steep and speedy. Geometry is balanced across the size range via matched chain-stay lengths, ensuring all riders are getting the same Megatower experience.
The Megatower V2 has a handy glovebox fitted to the downtube with a surprising amount of storage space. Also included is a Santa Cruz branded tool wallet and tube purse.
The Megatower is manufactured in Santa Cruz C and CC grade carbon. The CC shaves a little weight and adds touch of extra stiffness to the already impressive C spec. As you would expect the Megatower 2023 is covered by Santa Cruz's fantastic lifetime warranty and lifetime pivot bearing replacement policy.
Available in a range of specifications, as well as the option, at certain spec levels, to choose between air or coil shock and even add an amazing set of Reserve carbon wheels. We can switch build kits between frame sizes so fi the Megatower you want isn't in stock give us a shout and we may be able to build it up for you!

Delivery Information
We have a range of delivery options on orders. Most importantly, if your order is over £50 then delivery is free!
All Biketart orders are fully trackable. You will get a tracking number by email when your order is shipped which will allow you to track it with Royal Mail or DPD.
In-stock orders placed by 4pm will be processed the same day.
Any items displaying "in-stock with supplier, despatched in 2-3 days" on the product page cannot be despatched the same day as they will be shipped to us from the supplier when you place your order.

Delivery Services
Standard Tracked: All orders over £50 are eligible for free standard tracked delivery by Royal Mail. For orders under £50 there is a £3 charge. Orders sent using standard tracked are usually delivered in 2-3 days.
Priority Tracked: For £4 your order is sent by premium tracked delivery which gives a 1-2 day (including Saturdays) delivery timescale. This service is provided by Royal Mail who will usually deliver on Saturdays. Orders must be placed by 4pm.
Next Day Courier: If you require next-working-day delivery then this is provided by DPD and is £6.99. Orders must be placed by 3.30pm and be fully in-stock in order to be processed before our daily DPD collection.
Saturday Delivery: You can select Saturday delivery options from DPD at the checkout.
Bike Delivery: Bikes are always delivered by courier. After placing a bike order your bike is fully assembled and tested before being carefully boxed for shipping. Because of this build process it is not always possible to offer next-day delivery on a bike. Please do get in touch if you want to know a specific despatch day on any bike on our website. Returns Info
We offer a 30 day return period on our items. We ask that items are returned in their original packaging and in re-sellable condition. We do not pay returns postage.unless we have made an error with your order.
We cannot accept the return if the item is not correctly packaged and is damaged in transit during the return trip back to us.
Please do not stick any tape or labels to the products branded outer packaging.

Have to say this bike is a beast... absolutely love it. The team at Biketart have been brilliant from start to finish, the bike even arrived two days early. Although there was a problem with the dropper the guys quickly sorted this and sent me out a bleed kit to get me going again.
The bike itself is so plush and yet soild, the suspension all round just soaks everything up and just wants to keep on going even through the tech trails.
Would definitely recommend one of these to anyone and again to the team at Biketart, Cheers for everything :)

The Megatower is a fantastic bike.
Descending it picks up speed easily, daring you to not bother with the brakes - the grip and stability are insanely good.
In addition to this, it still pedals nicely when you have to go back up - overall it is an utterly brilliant bike.

I’ve been lucky enough to have a lot of bikes over the years and my favourites have always been Santa Cruz, but this mega tower is by far the best I’ve owned to date. It’s the quietest and just seems to carry speed so much better than any other bike. It seals over roots and rocks with these. The suspension is just superb. I started achieving Strava personal trials I’ve ridden for years without even trying that hard! The confidence this bike gives me is amazing! 👌👌
