The XT grade RT-MT800 Ice Tech rotors are trusted for their excellent, consistent performance. Shimano ICE Technology employs an innovative 3-layer clad rotor system to lower heat levels in the disc brake rotor. This reduces heat-induced brake fade, enhancing the lifespan of both the rotor and brake pads. The steel braking surfaces encase an aluminum core, efficiently dissipating heat from the braking surface.
The Ice Tech rotor design also promotes less brake noise and greater brake pad life.

I have used them for over a year and they wear lot much less than the Tektro rotor that were coming with my bike. Obviously this one is double price but totally worthy.
They are light weight, perform well and look good.
