The BlackChili range offers 'Tubeless-Ready ProTection' or 'RaceSport' casing options. Meanwhile, the PureGrip range includes Tubeless-Ready ShieldWall folding or standard wire bead models. Our Tubeless Ready tyres have been updated to inflate easily with a standard track pump.

    a great tyre still available in 26" thanks Conti

    Whilst not the cheapest or dearest in the race king line up I think these are just about right. The wired version is very hard if not impossible to get onto the rim depending what rims you have and also the compound is not are grippy. have found for cross country riding certainly in our wet summer so farther grip is impressive considering the smaller tread profile. they are also lighter than wired version so if you can pair with light inner tubes there is some weight to be saved which helps getting them rolling and stopping. Really good so far!

    Race King 29er - heavier

    The Biketart site shows the weight for the Race King 26” (about 535g?) but no weight shown for the 29er. It’s a little disappointing to find this is 722g, the tyre wall says it’s E-bike and tubeless ready, so the side walls are probably stronger. Looks good construction. I would have expected ‘Race’ to go with a light tyre design.
