The spoke nipples are offset by 2.8mm, allowing for more even spoke tension between the right and left sides of the wheel. This creates a wheel that holds tension better and reduces the risk of broken spokes. If a wheel ever needs to be trued, the Jocassee is built with easy-to-adjust external nipples and J-bend spokes for straightforward maintenance.

These wheels are built on the highly rated Quest hubs. Weighing 120 grams at the front and 245 grams at the rear, the Quest hubs feature a centrelock design, quick 5-degree engagement, tool-free hub assembly and servicing, and compatibility with all end cap options and drivers including Shimano Hyperglide and Microspline, SRAM XDR, Campagnolo, and Campy N3W. The hubs come equipped with Enduro ABEC-5 LLU/LLB bearings for smooth and durable performance.
