Handcrafted Durability

Each GVL wheel is hand built with double-butted J-bend spokes and brass nipples in a two-cross lacing pattern designed to withstand high-torque loads. They spin on BOYD Skyuka disc hubs, featuring 10 degrees of engagement and compatibility with Shimano and SRAM cassettes. 

Skyuka Hubs

Durability is the name of the game with Skyuka hubs. Slightly heavier than Quest hubs, the Skyuka hubs excel at torque handling, thanks to 4 pawls engaging simultaneously on 36 teeth, giving you quick 10-degree engagement.
