Saracen are renowned as one of Britain's best known bike brands, having produced bikes since the 1980s, they started out in mountain biking and now produce a range of top quality MTBs, road bikes, hybrids and stylish men's and women's commuters. From the world cup winning Myst Team right down to the super affordable Urban range and even some great kids bikes, there is a Saracen for every budget. With high levels of specification, Saracen offer great value and performance at every price point.
As a mountain bike company first and foremost, Saracen have serious heritage. Their early models set the scene for the beginnings of British Mountain biking. The elevated stay Kili Flyer of the early 90's was a dream bike for many and their Tufftrax model was a UK best seller for years. More recently, British cycle giant Madison helped the brand to re-establish itself. Saracen now produce high performance carbon full suspension and hardtail machines, entry level alloy MTBs and a great range of women's mountain bike.
The two Saracen range toppers are their DH world cup winning Myst Team and the awesome Ariel LT - a carbon enduro bike to beat all comers. Thanks to their relationship with the UK's biggest Shimano importer and major brand dealer, Saracen bikes offer great value, even at the top end. Few other companies offer such high specification, top drawer products and full carbon frames for the same price as Saracen. They also produce some great trail bikes, such as the Mantra, Kili Flyer and 2018's 'fun carbon hardtail' Zenith. New mountain bikers will love the every present Saracen Tufftrax too.
Saracen also serve the commuter market wonderfully. Their 'Hack' series bikes allow urban riders to get to work by any possible means - including muddy towpaths if you want. The Urban Cross series is perfect for leisure riders who don't want to be kept on road all the time. Urban Cross bikes also offer the comfort of front suspension.
If you have your eye on the local pump track or jump site, Saracen are the ones to turn to as well. Their AL Team represents the pinnacle in dirt jump tech and can be seen under some very serious pro riders. For those on a tighter budget, or wanting to add N+1 to their collection, the CR mini-range of dirt jumpers will bring out the big kid in you. Tough steel frames, 26" wheels and BMX track ready tyres will push you to try stuff you didn't believe you could
The Saracen name may have had some years in the wilderness, but now they are a force to be reckoned with once more. Saracen even let you build up complete bikes from scratch, with their range of mountain bike frames. Biketart love a good custom build, so give us a call. Women are also well catered for, with even the near range topping Kili Flyer getting a female specific version. The premium junior Saracen range shows that even little riders are taken seriously.
For mountain bikers, dirt jumpers and all sorts of urban riders, Saracen have the bike you are looking for.
