Description
Key Features
- Designed by Wheels Manufacturing for reliable performance
- Requires the correct size extractor, along with 8mm & 10mm wrenches for smaller extractors or 13mm and 17mm wrenches for larger ones
- Fits snugly into the inner diameter (I.D.) of the bearing for secure removal
How to Use the Wheels Manufacturing 6804, and 6904 Sealed Bearing Extractor
To begin, insert the extractor into the I.D. of the sealed bearing until it sits flush with the extractor's shoulder. Use one wrench to hold the extractor steady while tightening the nut with another wrench. This ensures the extractor is firmly in place.
Once secured, align a punch with the back of the extractor and gently tap until the bearing is removed along with the extractor. After removal, you can install new sealed bearings using a Wheels Mfg PRESS-1 for rear hubs and bottom brackets, or PRESS-2 for front hubs.
