The Troy Lee Designs Triad Knee/Shin Hard Shell Guards are about as close to a full armour plate for your knee as you can get while still riding at your best, protecting the front of the knee joint, shin and lower thigh. A hard-shell plastic outer disperses impact over a wide area while venting heat and moisture through holes at the thigh and shin, and a D3O® pad over the knee stays supple and breathable until impact, when it hardens to shield you.

Small containment flanges on either side of the knee support the medial and lateral collateral ligaments and hold the knee joint firmly in place, while sturdy elastic straps secure the guard around the front of your leg so it stays right where it is needed.
