I bought a new pump head thinking that was the issue with the pump. It turns out it wasn't.

Luckily I had two identical pumps, on I kept in my van for when I went away cycling, the other I kept at home.

I'm now have one fully functioning pump and a spare pump head which sods law says I'll never need.

Having said all that, the ordering process was easy and the part arrived as promised, hence five stars from me. Thanks Bike Tart.
