The Thomson BMX stem is crafted from 7000 series aluminium as a seamless one-piece unit without welds or joints. It features a 50mm wide clamp and a patented undercut that enhances handlebar grip. The stem’s dual-clamp design ensures a rigid connection, delivering excellent stiffness with minimal flex and no squeaking.  The stem features an anodized finish that protects against corrosion while preserving a clean look.

The Thomson stem has passed extensive life and ultimate strength tests. An on-going testing program ensures that every production lot of stems meets Thomson standards.

Weighing just 255g, this BMX stem is designed with an integrated spacer that accommodates a gyro system, removing the need for an additional spacer. All parts, including the fasteners, are fully manufactured in the USA. The Thomson stem delivers an optimal balance of stiffness, strength, and durability.
