The Surly Nice Rack Rear is crafted from durable tubular CroMoly steel, making it an ideal choice for those who love expedition touring. While we’re not suggesting you leave your job, if you do decide to embark on a cycling adventure, this rack is built to handle the demands of long journeys. It's designed to be easily repairable on the road, providing peace of mind with its robust construction.

The Surly Nice Rack Rear is height adjustable, accommodating a variety of wheel sizes while maintaining a low centre of gravity for a stable ride. The spacious top platform offers ample room for securing various items, whether it's a small travel guitar, a tent, or even a medium pizza. The included stainless steel hardware allows for fitting on most rigid 26", 700c, and some 29+ frames, as well as forks with drum, caliper, or cantilever brakes. Please note, this rack is generally not compatible with disc brakes and suspension, although some frames are now designed to support both racks and disc brakes.
