This downhill-specific cassette is built around an optimised 7-speed, 10–24T range, engineered to deliver small gear steps for maximum power and acceleration. Using a full X-Sync tooth profile, it provides the most consistent and robust DH shifting SRAM has produced, maintaining flawless performance even under heavy load. Designed so riders never need to ease off when dropping gears, it helps reach race splits faster and maintain momentum on the most aggressive courses. Two variants are available—XD and the new XD SLIM—allowing compatibility with standard hubs or improved spoke bracing angles on 148 mm DH rear ends.
