The DEORE XT SL-M8230 packs Shimano's newest shifting features into a package made for current 11-speed LINKGLIDE drivetrains, delivering fast, precise shifting in an ergonomic, durable design that suits high-load e-MTB use.

The redesigned main lever brings a shorter stroke and crisp actuation, with multi-shift of up to two sprockets per pull. RAPIDFIRE PLUS, 2-WAY RELEASE and INSTANT RELEASE all feature, alongside a replaceable rubber traction pad, clean cable routing and a tool-less inner cable hole cover. Available in I-SPEC EV (SL-M8230-IR) and clamp-band (SL-M8230-R) fittings, and compatible with previous-generation 11-speed LINKGLIDE drivetrains.
