The theory is straightforward: a bigger wheel meets an obstacle at a shallower angle of attack, so it rolls over rough ground more easily and gives up less real-world speed than a smaller wheel on the same surface.

The tread and construction follow the standard RCG-3. Tightly spaced, elongated centre knobs keep things quick on hardpack, growing towards the shoulders for grip and float when the surface turns loose. SealSkin puncture protection handles the rough stuff, and the supple Pulsar casing keeps energy loss down. Race Casing architecture is built around higher baseline pressures without handing back handling, and the whole thing is tubeless ready.

At 32 x 2.4in it is a big tyre, so check frame and fork clearance before ordering. It suits Category 3 gravel racing on harsh, unpredictable terrain - Unbound, Big Sugar, The Rift - and long days where rollover matters more than outright weight.
