By eliminating the direct mount link, this design also saves 4–10 grams while offering 8–12× the stiffness of a conventional hanger. The result is improved durability and resilience—better able to withstand knocks and impacts during your ride, with less need for realignment or derailleur adjustment. And when adjustment is needed, the hanger can be fine-tuned by hand.

Engineered with protection in mind, the hanger incorporates a sacrificial fracture notch. This feature ensures the hanger bends or breaks before damage reaches your carbon frame, meaning in the event of a hard impact, you’ll be replacing a hanger—not a frame.
