    Typical Shimano engineering

Great quality as expected. I chose this over an XT BB for the additional weight saving- and it seems this comes from the use of plastic cups and smaller bearings but they feel very sturdy and roll smoothly all the same. Be aware you will need the right tool to be able to install this, a good google search will help you find a suitable option- this is the smallest of the 3 different possible sized tools Shimano currently uses.
