The Santa Cruz Megatower is a long-travel 29er built for riders who want downhill-level composure without giving up the ability to pedal back to the top. With 170mm of travel up front and 165mm at the rear, it sits at the harder-hitting end of the enduro category - equally at home on big mountain descents, uplift days and race stages.

Suspension comes from the lower-link VPP system, tuned to stay supportive under pedalling yet planted when the trail turns rough. A slack 63.8° head angle and steep, size-specific seat angles keep you centred for fast, steep descents while still climbing efficiently, and a lower-link flip chip lets you drop the bottom bracket and slacken the geometry further when you want maximum stability.

The Carbon C frame carries an in-frame Glovebox storage compartment in the down tube, size-specific chainstays for balanced handling right across the size range, and a threaded bottom bracket for fuss-free maintenance. It's backed by a lifetime frame warranty and free bearings for life. Two builds are offered: the 70 kit, based around a RockShox Zeb fork and SRAM Eagle 70 transmission, and the 90 kit, which steps up to a FOX 38 fork, SRAM Maven brakes and a wider-range Eagle drivetrain.
