Description
The original all-mountain bike and the standard by which all others will be measured, the Bronson is one of the first models that spring to mind whenever mountain bike riders around the world think about Santa Cruz. A true MTB classic renowned for its Swiss-Army Knife approach to trail shredding.
The Fifth generation Bronson pushes the boundaries with a new lower VPP™ link placement that is even lower than previous and more forward to optimize anti-squat. The result is a plush, open feel with a lot of traction. This is the best VPP™ we’ve ever made. There’s more traction on offer, and it makes for a very composed descender.
“Santa Cruz has possibly created the best feeling VPP™ bike I’ve ridden, aside from the bump-eating V10.” - The Loam Wolf 2024
“This bike represents perfection in terms of kinematics and geometry. Without a doubt, the best trail bike we have ever tested.” - MTB Mag (Italy)
The Santa Cruz Bronson makes use of a mixed wheel size, giving the benefit of high traction, fast-rolling 29" wheels on the front and agile, responsive 27.5" wheels out back, making for a playful, composed ride suitable for any trail you could wish to send it down.
The C spec carbon frames are identical to the pricier CC spec, though they use an alternative carbon lay-up process. This means that for a little extra weight, the cost can come down. The C spec frame is still covered by the industry's best Santa Cruz warranty and lifetime linkage bearing replacement program.
