Praxis Works Shimano Hollowtech II Bottom Bracket Converter
The Praxis Works Shimano Hollowtech II bottom bracket converter allows installation of Shimano Hollowtech II cranks in BB30 or PF30 MTB frames. Its patent-pending design positions the cartridge bearings outboard of the frame to Shimano specifications, improving rigidity and eliminating frame and C-clip tolerance issues common in other conversion bottom brackets.
Installation is simple: press in the longer non-drive cup, then thread the shorter drive cup. As the drive cup threads in, the Collet system expands to a precise limit, evenly distributing pressure for a secure fit. A compressible O-ring on the non-drive side compensates for frame shell width discrepancies, keeping the bearings perfectly aligned.
