The Lite Padded Jacket is the insulated layer you end up reaching for most, because it does not commit you to one use. It is warm enough to wear on its own on a cold morning, and slim enough to disappear under a shell when the weather turns.

That comes down to the insulation. Thermore Evodown is a hybrid construction: two layers of rolled padding with loose fibres sandwiched between them. It traps air the way down does, but without the clumping and cold spots, so you get real warmth from a jacket that packs down small and stays quiet under an outer layer.

The finishing is deliberately clean. Zip pockets are concealed, the main zip runs behind colour-matched webbing, and a fleece chin guard keeps the top of the zip off your face. A drawstring at the waist pulls the fit in, elasticated cuffs are hidden inside the sleeve, and a PFAS-free DWR treatment sheds light rain rather than soaking it up.
