It's a thinner assembly grease that helps me when packing sealed bearings and makes it a lot easier. I think because of the low viscosity it wouldn't retain well in cup and cone application and I would use a higher viscosity grease for that application . But for sealed bearing its excellent PS don't over fill your bearings as it will churn the grease up and ause frictional drag. As guide I would use

the SKF formula G = 0.114 x D x B

Where

G = the amount of grease in ounces

D = the outside diameter of the bearing in inches

B = the bearing width in inches
