The Norco Fluid A1 is the flagship alloy build of the next-generation Fluid, a trail bike built to deliver real, all-round trail performance at a genuinely sensible price. The previous Fluid earned Pinkbike's Value Bike of the Year, Vital MTB's Bike of the Year and Bicycling Magazine's Best Value Trail Bike, and this new generation builds on that reputation with a lighter frame, refined ride quality and thoughtful details that make it easier to live with.

At its heart is a completely redesigned full 6066 aluminium frame that saves weight over the previous generation without giving up the strength and reliability Norco is known for. Fully guided internal cable routing with nylon tubing runs from nose to tail, so home maintenance stays simple, and a UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) keeps replacements easy and widely available.

The proven VPS (Virtual Pivot Suspension) platform gives 130mm of rear travel that stays balanced, supportive and full of traction across a wide range of trails, paired with a 140mm RockShox Lyrik Select+ fork up front. A custom-tuned rear shock and Norco's Ride Aligned setup guide help you dial in a personalised baseline quickly, so you spend less time faffing and more time riding.

Modern, size-specific geometry runs across five frame sizes (S1 to S5), fitting riders from roughly 5'0" to 6'6", with a 65° head angle and steep, size-adjusted seat angles for confident climbing and composed descending. Every Fluid rolls on 29" wheels out of the box, and a flip chip in the link arm lets you switch to a mixed-wheel (29" front / 27.5" rear) setup to suit your terrain and preference, without upsetting the geometry or suspension feel.

Topping the range, the A1 pairs that frame with a Shimano Deore XT 12-speed drivetrain and Shimano SLX four-piston brakes for dependable, confidence-inspiring performance ride after ride.
