The F-Trick 26 is a full-suspension trail bike built at kids' proportions rather than a shrunken adult bike. It runs 130mm of rear travel through Mondraker's Zero Suspension System and 140mm up front, on 26" wheels, with the same Stealth Evo frame shaping you'll recognise from the adult range.
What makes it work is that nothing has been cheapened where it matters. The X-Fusion Slant RC fork is a real air fork with lockout, rebound and preload adjustment, so it can actually be set up for a light rider - the usual failing on kids' bikes is a fork sprung far too stiffly. Braking is Shimano MT520 four-piston with 180mm rotors, which gives plenty of power without needing a big hand squeeze.
The drivetrain is a 12-speed SRAM 70 T-Type setup with a 10-52T cassette and 155mm cranks, so there's a genuinely low gear for climbing and no front shifter to think about. An X-Fusion Manic dropper post comes fitted as standard, and the SDG Fly JR saddle and Slater JR pedals are sized for smaller riders. At 14.3kg it's light enough to be manageable on a long day out.
