Same frame, same fork and the same groupset as the standard 500, built in XS, S and M and finished in Silk High Cream. The AL-A IV aluminium frame uses smoothed welds and internal cable routing, and the Silex II CF2 carbon fork is borrowed from the gravel range, which is what takes the buzz out of a rough road surface. Rack, mudguard and kickstand mounts mean it works as a year round bike as well as a fast one.
Gearing is SRAM's 1x12 XPLR: a Rival XPLR 42 tooth chainset, Apex XPLR rear derailleur and an 11-44 cassette, operated by an Eagle S200 trigger shifter. Braking is Tektro Orion M6020 hydraulic, the wheels are tubeless ready Merida Expert SL III rims on Shimano hubs, and Schwalbe G-One R 45mm tyres roll fast on tarmac while still coping with a gravel path.
