Built in XS, S and M, the Women's Speeder 300 shares its frame, fork and full build with the standard model. That means an AL-C IV aluminium frame with internal cable routing and a tapered head tube, a matching aluminium fork, clearance for tyres up to 700 x 50c, and mounts for a rack, mudguards and a kickstand if you want to use it for the commute as well as the weekend.
Shifting is kept deliberately simple: one lever, a 42 tooth chainring and a Shimano CUES U6000 rear derailleur working across a 10-50 eleven speed cassette. The range is broad enough for steep climbs, and the Linkglide sprockets are thicker than standard ones so they hold up better to year round mileage. Schwalbe G-One Comp 45mm tyres, Shimano MT200 hydraulic discs and tubeless ready Merida Comp SL II rims round it off.
