Aspiring gravel racers tend to want the frame first and the parts they can upgrade later. The Mission 6000 takes that view seriously: it is the same CF4 II carbon gravel race frame and Mission CF4 II tapered carbon fork used higher in the range, paired with a hard-wearing build that keeps the price sensible.

Handling falls between the road-biased Scultura Endurance and the off-road-focused Silex, which in practice means sharp, responsive steering on and off tarmac without losing the composure you need on rugged gravel. Frame clearance is 700x40C, with 100x12mm and 142x12mm thru-axles and a threaded BSA bottom bracket.

SRAM Rival XPLR AXS runs the wireless 1x13 drivetrain, a 10-46 cassette with a 42 tooth aluminium chainset giving a range that suits long climbs on loose surfaces. Rival AXS XPLR hydraulic discs stop it, and DT Swiss G 1800 Spline aluminium wheels are a proven, easily lived-with choice with a 24mm internal rim width. Continental Terra Speed ProTection 40mm tubeless ready tyres come fitted. The bar and stem are aluminium here rather than one-piece carbon, which keeps fit adjustments cheap and simple, and the Expert SL carbon seatpost still takes the sting out of rough ground. Ideal for gravel gran fondos and fast, broken roads.
