The eOne-Eighty FR 800 is the full-bore, attack-ready version of Merida's already hard-hitting eOne-Eighty. The FR spec adds a RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate shock and seriously powerful SRAM Maven brakes, so it's equipped for the most challenging features you could want to send it down.
Driving it is the proven Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 motor, pumping out up to 120Nm of torque and 750W of peak power following Bosch's free Performance Upgrade 2.0 software update, all fed by a large, user-removable 800Wh battery. In short, it's a downhill bike with a built-in uplift.
A 180mm RockShox Zeb Ultimate fork matches the coil shock up front, and the mixed-wheel setup, with a 29" front and 27.5" rear, keeps it agile. SRAM's Eagle 70 Transmission handles the shifting, Reynolds 309 Enduro Comp rims and Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II tyres take the hits, and the shock comes with a size-specific spring rate out of the box.
