The Dirt 700 uses the same tough TFS aluminium frame with 26in wheels and a 135x10mm bolt-on rear axle, and it is gyro compatible if barspins and tailwhips are on the menu.
A RockShox Pike DJ air fork takes the sting out of landings with 100mm of travel on a 15x100mm axle. DT Swiss D1900 wheels with 30mm internal rims and tape already installed are built to shrug off abuse, and Maxxis DTH 26x2.3 tyres suit hard-packed dirt and concrete. Braking is deliberately mixed: a SRAM DB4 four-piston at the rear where you want control, with a lighter Tektro MD-M280 up front. The drivetrain is singlespeed, 32t to a 13t cog on 160mm cranks and a KMC Z1 wide chain.
