Changing the travel on a Bomber Z1 is a straightforward workshop job once you have the right air shaft. This genuine service kit drops into the 2025-on Z1 and sets how much travel the fork runs, so you can shorten it to suit a trail bike or open it up to the full 170mm for steeper, rougher riding without buying a second fork.

Each shaft is travel-specific and comes with the hardware needed to fit it, so it is a sensible bit of kit if your frame has changed or the bike's balance needs adjusting. It suits the 1.275" bore air spring used on the current Z1 and is not interchangeable with the 2018-2024 generation, which uses a different shaft.
