The Flux HydroShift Waterproof Packable Jacket is Madison's ultra-light waterproof for high-output riding. At around 190g it packs down to roughly the size of three apples, so it can come on every ride.

HydroShift is a microporous PU membrane: its pores are small enough to block rain and wind but let warm water vapour out, and it starts breathing from the beginning of the ride, before moisture has a chance to build up inside. The fabric and construction are fully waterproof, rated at 10,000mm, with a PFAS-free C0 DWR finish and UPF 40+ sun protection.

The fit is close but not restrictive, with stretch fabric and an articulated cut. An offset zip is more comfortable and less prone to letting water in, a tall, soft-touch collar keeps the weather off your neck, and elasticated cuffs, an elasticated dropped hem and a silicone gripper keep it in place. Reflective inserts add visibility.
