I bought this & fitted it to my Trek Marlin 5 Gen 3. I didn't want any external cables showing on my frame, so had to drill a small hole in the downtube of my bike to internally route the actuator cable. I used a proper oval grommet in the downtube & used a free hole already in the uptube to conceal the cable & it looks very neat. I bought a Brand X Ascend V2 handlebar lever to go with it & I'm very impressed at the quality & smooth operation of the unit. Straight out of the box, I find the suspension to be subtle & haven't bothered adjusting the pressure within the cartridge yet.

All in all, very pleased & impressed with this dropper. Its very well priced for what you get.
