The Process 246 is the next step for young riders who've outgrown their first mountain bike and are ready for real trails. It takes the design thinking behind Kona's adult Process range and scales it properly for smaller bodies, with geometry, suspension and controls sized for kids rather than simply shrunk down.

The 6061 aluminium frame gives 120mm of rear travel, controlled by a RockShox Deluxe Select shock, with a 120mm Manitou J-Unit Comp fork up front. It runs a 26" front and 24" rear wheel as standard, and can also run 26" at both ends as your rider grows. Good standover and an efficient pedalling platform make it easy to get along with on the climbs.

The parts are chosen for small hands and big ambitions: Shimano Deore four-piston brakes with reach-adjustable levers, a Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain with short 140mm cranks, and a 100mm TranzX dropper post. From backyard jump lines to the first proper descents, it's a bike that builds skills and confidence. For 2027 it comes in Gloss Metallic Burnt Orange.
