This is the latest iteration of Hope's XC / Down-country 2-piston hydraulic mountain bike brake. With newly updated master cylinder, caliper bodies, lever ergonomics, piston assembly and simplified bleeding/maintenance.

The X2 is a one piece, 2-piston brake, designed for lighter use. Popular for XC and light trail use, the X2 can also be used as a rear brake paired with the more burly EVO TR4 on the front.

Newly developed Master cylinder features a new cam mechanism to reduce free stroke while maintaining the feel and modulation,

Redesigned lever with increased hook and new dimple texture for maximum grip and control in all conditions. 

New piston assembly features a secondary guide bush and sliding guide which ensures ultra-smooth operation throughout the full lever stroke.

A new master cylinder bleed port allows clean, tool-efficient bleeding without lid removal.

- LH and RH both come with 1700mm hose (trim to fit front or rear, olives and inserts included)
