As expected, lovely Hope quality. I was a little surprised how much research it took to find an adaptor so i could fit onto an Shimano XT 8120 brake lever. I found one made by Bike Yoke which I had to order separately. Came from a 1st gen PNW loam lever and this is a different level.

As expected the Hope lever is an absolutely beautiful piece of engineering, it matches my Hope Tech 4 levers.

It’s a shame that you have to buy the matchmaker separately, personally I think you should have a choice of matchmaker when you order the lever….

Really nice action and feel ,great adjustability , looks amazing , but... I have silver / blue tech 4 brakes , so got silver/blue dropper lever , knew I had to get an adapter separate , but could find a silver one... can't have 2 silver bits connected by a black adapter can you? would look rubbish... so I spent an hour with a Dremel , and polished all the black off my adapter to make it silver... worth considering if you've gone silver... realistically this is an £80 dropper lever cos adapter is £20 ... that's why its only 4/5...
