The Vagabond 20 truly lives up to its name - a masterful wanderer that's immensely fun on the gnarliest excursions, irresistibly loadable and infinitely adaptable. Call it monstercross, gravel-plus or just a go-anywhere bike; it's built to tackle any terrain on your quest for new trails and unknown corners of the map.

The all-new Vagabond is longer, higher and slacker, built around Genesis's double-butted, cold-drawn, seamless Mjolnir chromoly tubeset for a tough, durable and sublimely comfortable ride. A dropped seat stay (shared with the Croix de Fer) adds vertical compliance on rough ground so you can stay seated and save energy for the fun bits, while a tapered head tube and corrected geometry mean you can add a 40-50mm travel gravel suspension fork down the line. Internal routing for a 31.6mm dropper post is already in place.

There's huge clearance for full-fat 2.35" tyres, and every Vagabond rolls on tubeless-ready Amplitude G120 wheels (35mm internal) wrapped in grippy Maxxis Ikon 2.35" rubber - 27.5" on the smaller frames and 29" on the larger ones for the ideal fit. SRAM's Apex XPLR Eagle 1x12 drivetrain brings full MTB gearing (34T chainring, 11-50T cassette) to winch up anything fully loaded, and Apex XPLR hydraulic disc brakes with 180/160mm rotors haul it all back down - no puny road stoppers here.

Then there's the carrying capacity: masses of bottle mounts (or room to work around a frame bag), Anything Cage mounts on the fork legs, top-tube mounts and rear rack mounts. If you fill a Vagabond, you've packed too much. Little wonder off.road.cc rated it 4.5 stars.
