The AR40 Carbon Rear Wheel is an all-road wheel designed to deliver real-world speed without any nervousness when the road gets rough or the wind picks up. It's shaped, tested and built to ENVE's Real-World Fast philosophy, where crosswind stability and handling matter as much as raw aerodynamics.

The rear rim is designed to recapture the airflow passing from the front of the bike to the back, maximising drag reduction where it counts. It runs 40mm deep with a 25mm internal width.

Like the rest of the range, it's optimised for tubeless with a hookless bead that allows the precise, consistent rim dimensions tubeless setups rely on. ENVE's patent-pending Wide Hookless Bead adds a more forgiving leading edge that helps resist pinch-flats when you catch an edge or a rock.

At the heart of the wheel is the ENVE INNERDRIVE Foundation hub, with a freehub available to suit Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, Campagnolo N3W or Shimano Microspline drivetrains.
