The G 1800 CLASSIC Rear Wheel is the heavy-duty gravel partner to the matching front, built for strength and reliability under load. With a class-leading 150kg maximum system weight, it's ideal for bikepacking, rough terrain and riders who ask a lot of their wheels.

The wide alloy rim runs 20mm deep with a 26mm internal width, giving 700c gravel tyres a broad, stable footprint for traction and comfort. A new angular rim shape adds strength and impact resistance for the roughest paths. It uses a hooked bead and a sleeved joint and is tubeless ready with tape already fitted.

The CLASSIC build uses traditional J-bend DT Competition spokes laced 28h 3-cross onto the dependable 370 CLASSIC hub with the 36T Ratchet LN System, for maximum strength and straightforward servicing. It runs a 142x12mm thru-axle with a Center Lock disc mount and is available with SRAM XDR, Shimano HG or Shimano Microspline freehubs.
