Description
EXC 1200 Carbon Wheels
Designed to break the mold and push the limits, the EXC 1200 is a pure Enduro race weapon for the most daring line choices and the toughest climbs.
Patented DT carbon molding technology allows the rim to be formed as one piece, eliminating voids and joints for a stronger overall structure. Extra layers of continuous outer strands are placed on high-impact areas for additional reinforcement. DT's process also produces a rim that requires no additional outer surface finishing after molding, removing the need for a structurally superfluous cosmetic layer.
Premium 180 hubs use custom-made SiNC Ceramic bearings, the fastest MTB wheel bearings available. The Ratchet DEG system features oversized 90-tooth ratchets for almost instant engagement without sacrificing DT's legendary hub reliability. Despite its focus on rapid engagement, the Ratchet DEG system retains DT's easy tool-free servicing, allowing for trailside repairs if needed.
Unlike most DT wheels, the EXC 1200s use classic flange and J-bend Revolite spokes to introduce a degree of compliance into what would otherwise be an extremely stiff structure. This design helps you stay on track in rough terrain and reduces rider fatigue.
Hand-built in Europe, the EXC 1200 wheels come with a lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship under DT's Fair Share carbon warranty. When purchased as a pair, the wheels include both Shimano MICRO SPLINE and SRAM XD freehubs, wheel bags, tubeless tape, and premium lightweight tubeless valves.

- HUB TYPE 180 with Ratchet DEG 90
- RIM Carbon, Hookless tubeless TSS
- INNER WIDTH 30 mm
