The DT Swiss DEG DF Race Kit was developed at the request of World Cup downhill race teams, and gives owners of DEG hubs two new float options for fine-tuning how much the drivetrain influences the rear suspension. It contains two additional ring nuts designed for DEG hubs running the 90-tooth DEG DF ratchets.

One ring nut gives a choice of 10° or 30° of float, settings aimed at enduro racing. The other gives either zero or a huge 40°, isolating the drivetrain almost completely for downhill, where you're barely pedalling between sections. As with the rest of the DF system, it adds no weight and no extra servicing over a standard DEG hub, and the installation tool is included.
