The Kids Trail 16 Freewheel is a great first proper bike, light and simple to ride, with hand brakes so kids can learn to stop like the grown-ups.
The SmartForm C3 alloy frame keeps weight down, a freewheel lets them coast like on a bigger bike, and tool-free training wheels can be removed as soon as they're ready. A full-coverage chainguard keeps fingers and trousers clear.
