We pride ourselves on delivering top-tier bikes, expert advice, and a flawless out-of-the-box experience for our customers. As our operations expand, we’re looking for detail-oriented PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Technicians to join our workshop team.
Position Overview
You will be the vital final checkpoint before a bike reaches its new owner. Working hands-on in a fast-paced environment, you’ll be taking charge of the meticulous assembly, inspection, and sign-off of fully boxed bikes and premium custom builds. We’re looking for someone highly conscientious, eager to learn the ropes of a pro workshop, and ready to grow with us. If you have the right attitude and a mechanical mindset, we’ll want you onboard.

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible hours, some Saturday rotation required)

Location: Biketart, Canterbury.
Key Responsibilities

Expertly assemble, inspect, and sign off on new bikes, guaranteeing they meet our rigorous safety and quality standards every single time.

Handle the careful, secure repacking of bikes for direct dispatch to our online customers across the country or for in-store collection.

Work efficiently to hit workshop targets and ensure all builds are completed within expected timescales.

Keep our workflow highly organized by maintaining accurate, up-to-date digital logs of your builds on our workshop software.

Keep the behind-the-scenes running smoothly by managing incoming boxed bikes, unpacking, safe storage, and handling cardboard recycling.

Work with other mechanics and the bike sales team to ensure a seamless flow between the workshop, warehouse, and shop floor.
Essential Skills & Experience

A solid foundation of mechanical aptitude and a massive enthusiasm for all things cycling.

Razor-sharp attention to detail. You should take pride in delivering safe, high-quality work and never cut corners.

Great problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive as part of an active, close-knit team.

Solid IT proficiency as you'll be using our digital platforms daily.

A proactive, "get stuck in" attitude with a genuine willingness to learn new systems and mechanical techniques.
Desirable Skills

Previous experience in a bike shop or similar environment.

Cytech Level 2 (training is available for the right candidate to achieve this).
