Position Overview

You will be servicing, building, and optimising bikes to the highest standards in a busy, modern workshop environment. Our customers expect authority, accuracy and insight. If you’re awesome on the tools, and obsessed with riding, we want you on the team.

The Details

  • Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible hours, some Saturday rotation required)

  • Location: Biketart, Canterbury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out complex bike services, repairs, and custom parts fitting accurately and efficiently.

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on e-bike motor and battery systems.

  • Manage your own workflow and keep assigned jobs fully updated on our workshop software.

  • Handle premium bike handovers, ensuring customers understand their new setup and suspension kinematics.

  • Provide clear, honest, and informed technical advice to customers regarding upgrades, drivetrains, and consumables.

  • Maintain an exceptionally clean, organised, and professional workshop environment at all times.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Extensive, proven experience in a professional workshop environment.

  • Cytech Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent industry experience).

  • Deep technical knowledge of modern mountain, road, and e-bike technologies.

  • A highly methodical approach to diagnostics and problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex mechanical information into practical advice for riders of all levels.

  • Strong IT proficiency to seamlessly use our powerful workshop, sales and warehousing platforms. 

  • A genuine passion for riding and the wider cycling culture.
