The German technology specialist TQ-Group, headquartered in Seefeld in Oberbayern, has been making a name for itself in the e-mobility world, specifically by developing advanced mid-drive motors for electric bicycles under its “E-Mobility” division. TQ specialise in developing motors to achieve the feel of a regular bike with efficient pedal assist.

TQ's motors are known for their lightweight and compact designs, making them very popular on short travel lightweight electric mountain bikes and electric gravel bikes.

Their light motors also boast a small form factor, fitting neatly into frames, making for bikes fitted with TQ motors appearing at first glance to be regular pedal bikes, for example take a look at the amazing Yeti MTe. Despite the surprising size they are very efficient and will pump out great power and torque numbers.
