The D4 Carbon is Troy Lee Designs' flagship full face helmet. TeXtreme Spread Tow carbon fibre reinforcements in the shell pare down the weight by almost 50 grams without sacrificing strength.

Despite the reduction in weight, EPS has been strategically added to increase strength and durability. The helmet also features an integrated MIPS brain protection system, designed to reduce the rotational motion transferred to the brain from angled impacts, and is rounded out with lightweight titanium D-rings, a collarbone suspension system, quick-release XT2 3D cheekpads and an X-Static washable liner.
