Great addition to the winter riding wardrobe. Currently only given the waterproofing a few front wheel puddle splashes, but as to be expected the goretex lining just shrugged it off. Been wearing these boots/shoes with just a merino sock (on-one thicky) and the are super toasty even at -4 degrees C night riding (don't believe the reviews that say these aren't warm - more down to the sock than the boot most likely...!).
They are sized ever so slightly bigger than other Shimano shoes (swear by ME-7 shoes) - most likely to allow for a winter thickness sock, but its a good thing having a bit of room for feet to move in the shoe to stay warm, or wear a slightly thicker winter sock. Its not a massive issue and I wouldn't say its worth sizing down.
Rode with these for 4hrs yesterday at 0degrees C in the snow - was like riding in slippers - very smug when others were complaining of cold toes.

Setup and worn once, very very comfortable, almost can't wait for cold and wet weather to really try them!
