I've been through so many aftermarket brands trying to find something that can equal the OEM Shimano stuff and I've drawn a blank. Nothing seems to be able to match quality, performance AND longevity.

On the face if things, they seem expensive compared to some aftermarket stuff but for me, the extra couple of quid spent these ends up being better value. They last longer and have more friction material than everything else I've tried.

I'm not wholly convinced that the IceTech thing is quite as good as its made out to be. I rarely get brake fade from heat but in the instances where I have, the IceTech stuff does seem to recover quicker than non IceTech. That's not very scientific but whatever. At least these don't wear theouh to the backing plate after 30 miles in gritty wet soil. That's worth the money in itself.
