Gearing is a Shimano CUES 2x9, with a 40-26 chainset and an 11-36 cassette. That combination gives you a low enough gear to get up a steep hill with panniers on the back, which is the sort of thing a single ring setup at this price can struggle with. Kenda Piedmont 45mm tyres come fitted, Shimano MT200 hydraulic discs take care of stopping, and the tubeless ready Comp SL II rims are 23mm wide internally.
