Carbon wheels are what set the Scultura Endurance 6000 apart from the other 105 Di2 build in the range. Vision SC 45 Disc rims are 45mm deep with a 23mm internal width, Centerlock and tubeless tape ready, and they make an obvious difference to how easily the bike holds speed on rolling roads.

The chassis is the CF3 carbon endurance frame with Nano Matrix resin for impact resistance, a 142 x 12mm rear axle, a BB86 pressfit bottom bracket and a 1 1/2in lower headset bearing. Geometry follows the endurance brief: longer head tube for a more upright position, slacker head angle and a slightly longer wheelbase for stability, plus clearance for 35c tyres or 32c with mudguards.

Shifting is Shimano 105 Di2, 2 x 12, with an 11-34 cassette and 50-34 chainset. Braking is 105 hydraulic disc, the rear caliper flat mounted onto the frame's CNC machined aluminium Disc Cooler fins, which the brand says reduce operating temperatures by up to 35%.

The finishing kit is chosen for long rides rather than short ones: Maxxis RE-FUSE 32c tyres, a carbon Expert SL seatpost, an Expert SL II saddle with a minitool built in, and internal routing through the headset that leaves the cockpit clean.
